Personal Data Protection Policy
In the context of personal data protection, this policy aims to inform Users about the data that Schrader SAS, the data controller, processes, for what purpose and how such data are protected.
It sets out the commitments of Schrader SAS with regard to data protection and informs Users about their rights and how they can exercise them.
Schrader SAS processes personal data concerning Users in the context of their visits to our website www.schrader-pacific.fr.
Data collected
Schrader SAS only collects and processes data that are strictly necessary with regard to the purpose pursued.
When collecting data, Schrader SAS clearly informs Users, each time it collects their personal data, whether the responses are mandatory (asterisk) or optional. If a User does not fill in mandatory fields, Schrader SAS cannot carry out the processing. Any optional information makes it possible to better manage and improve the processing.
In general, Schrader SAS does not collect sensitive data. By voluntarily providing Schrader SAS with sensitive personal data without being asked for them (by submitting a CV or an online application, for example), the User expressly consent to their personal data being used as described in this policy.
Purposes
The processing carried out by Schrader SAS is done so for explicit, legitimate and specific purposes:
- for statistical purposes;
- to enrich the editorial content and adapt it to users’ needs;
- to respond to demands and requests for information about the services provided by Schrader SAS. To this end, it may be necessary for Schrader SAS to call the User by telephone or communicate with the User by email;
- to manage Users’ subscriptions to the commercial publications of Schrader SAS (newsletters);
- to manage Recruitments and CVs.
Legal basis
For marketing operations: Legitimate interest.
For customer relationship management: Contractual or pre-contractual measure.
For newsletters: Consent.
For applications: Legitimate interest.
Retention period
Schrader SAS only retains Users’ data for as long as is necessary for the operations for which they were collected, and in compliance with the legislation in force.
Data transmitted via the “CONTACT US” form:
- Those pertaining to potential customers are retained for 3 years after final contact.
- Those pertaining to customers are retained:
- Throughout the duration of the contractual relationship.
- Then for 5 years after the end of the contractual relationship, in order to protect and defend our rights in the case of disputes.
Data used for job applicants via the “CONTACT US” form or via the candidature_null@_nullschrader-pacific_null.fr email address: in the case of negative outcome, unless the applicant objects, 2 years after final contact.
Recipients
For data collected via the “CONTACT US” form, the data are destined for staff working in the departments involved in the request.
For job applications, the data are destined for staff responsible for hiring within Schrader SAS.
The data may be transmitted to technical service providers chosen for their expertise and reliability, who act in the name and according to the instructions of Schrader SAS (IT subcontractors, etc.). These service providers will comply with the principles laid down in national and European Union legislation.
Users' rights
Pursuant to French Law no. 78-17, as amended (the French Data Protection Act), Users have the rights of access, rectification, objection and erasure.

Their request must be accompanied by a signed identity document. If they are unable to prove their identity, Schrader SAS reserves the right to deny their request.
Users also have the right to lodge with the Commission National de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, the French data protection authority), 3 Place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, any complaint in connection with the manner in which Schrader SAS collects and processes their data.
Security
Schrader SAS takes all relevant precautions and appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect the security, integrity and confidentiality of Users’ personal data, in particular to prevent them from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorised third parties.
